Oki-Do Japanese Yoga is a unique, total-health discipline of body, mind and spirit, combining Zen Buddhism exercises, Shintoism pratice, traditional Marshal Art, Do-in, and original essence of Indian yoga. Oki-Do is quite different from Hatha Yoga, much practiced now in the West, in which less emphasis is placed on the poses. In Oki-Do, one practices poses in order to realize the unbalance within you, and correct it through unique Oki-Do’s poses. The original edition of this book was written over thirty years ago, but it is amazingly fresh still today, and there is much to learn from it.
